Privacy Policy

The short version: your financial details never leave your device, because Valculator has no server to send them to.

What we collect

Nothing. Valculator has no accounts, no sign-up, and no login. We do not ask for your name, email address, or phone number in order to use any decision engine.

What happens to the figures you enter

Your loan balance, interest rates, tenure, offers, and any other details you type stay in your browser's memory for the duration of your visit. Every calculation — the amortisation schedules, the scenario comparisons, the recommendation — is computed on your own device by JavaScript running in your browser. None of it is transmitted to us or to anyone else.

Advisor details

If you use advisor mode and enter your name, company, mobile, or email to brand a proposal, those details are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device so you don't have to retype them. They are never uploaded. Clearing your browser data, or using the “Clear” control in the advisor panel, removes them.

Exports

PDF, PNG, and text exports are generated in your browser and saved directly to your device. The file does not pass through a server on its way to you. What you then do with that file — sending it over WhatsApp or email, for example — is governed by whichever service you use to send it, not by us.

Cookies and analytics

Valculator sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts. We cannot tell you how many people have used the site, because we do not measure it.

Hosting

The site is a set of static files. As with any website, the host that serves those files may record standard technical request information such as IP address and user agent. That is a function of how the web works and is separate from the financial details you enter, which are never part of any request.

Changes

If this ever changes — for example, if a feature genuinely requires sending data somewhere — this page will be updated to say so plainly before that feature ships.
